Hello everyone. It is time. It’s been a long wait, but I’m finally able to announce this opportunity to support a great cause, and to possibly win one of my dragons. I made this dragon for the Dragon Master Foundation because it is a wonderful organization. The people involved in this group are totally dedicated to the fight against cancer. All the proceeds from this campaign will support cancer research. The expense ratio for this foundation is less than 1%! There is no paid staff. This is the right group to work with.
So watch the video to see the Dragon Master Foundation dragon. (Click the photo below) Then follow this link for details. http://tinyurl.com/winadragon Buying more chances to win will also get you some great perks! I have one of the T-shirts with the dragon on it. I love it!
PLEASE share this link with your friends and family. I very much want this campaign to succeed. As I head into my Medicare years, I can’t tell you I can’t tell you how many people I know who have been affected by this disease. This is my small contribution to the fight for the cure. Thank you for your help!
Reblogged this on Lenora's Culture Center and Foray into History.
Thank you Lenora! I very much appreciate you sharing this!
It’s a beautiful dragon, Dan! I think you outdid yourself! Hope it brings in lots of funds! 🙂
Thanks again Diane. Me too. I have to admit, my ego is on the line here.
Take care
Hi Dan I’m seriously considering donating towards the $250 option, is the book that is included with that an autographed copy? Hope this fundraiser is a huge success.
Hey there. All the books will be autographed, but I’m not sure if they will be personalized. I don’t know how that part will work. I’ll check. Thank you for your support!
i will
It is really a shame the prize is limited to U.S residents as I am in Canada. I would also like to donate but I am not sure if the goodies would be shipped to Canada as well. They would do better had they opened it up to all of North America 😦
Hello Olga. I didn’t see anything limiting the prize to the US. Did you try to donate and read that somewhere? There is a place for questions on the site. Maybe you could ask about that. Sorry
Reblogged this on AJ Designs and commented:
Hey all! I know I’ve been slow at posting, but I actually have been working on something using paper mache! Be patience with me and soon you’ll see what took so long! In the meantime, please think about donating to the Dragon Master Foundation! Follow the directions of this reblog and you can be entered in a chance to win this AWESOME dragon made by Gourmet Paper Mache!
Thank you very much for rebloggin AJ! I appreciate the support!
Donated and shared! Awesome idea! Sorry about the long comment above. I didn’t think it would post what I posted to my blog O_O
Thank you again AJ! Good luck!
Great job as usual. I would love to win this! I went to the site right away only to discover, prizes won’t be shipped to Canada. So sad. It says items will only be shipped to U.S.
I was planning on winning the grand prize! This would actually never happen, because I never win anything anyways, but it was nice to dream!
Thank you for supporting such a great cause.
This will be an amazing prize for someone to win.
Thanks Lori. I have to check into this. Since I’m will be the one to ship it, I would ship it to you in Canada. Sorry that happened.
I’m guessing that shipping of the perks by the organization is the problem here, not necessarily the dragon. I can only assume it’s because of the extra shipping costs and possibly more chances of getting lost to certain destinations and then the hassle that would cause? Just trying to be fiscally responsible and maximize their donation dollars, I suppose, and not have a lot tied up in shipping expenses. Then again, I could be totally wrong 🙂
The dragon is wonderful!!! The campaign he was made for is great!!! I will definitely be donating.
Thanks, Dan for all your contributions to so many.
Thanks again Diane. I really appreciate it.
I can understand trying to keep expenses down. It is nice to have the donation go to the cause not other things like postage.
Donation done. Fingers crossed but not holding my breath. Like I said… I never win anything but that’s okay!
Thank you Lori! Like I said, this is a good organization. It is a worthy cause. I’d love it if one of my friends won this!
I had a surprise delivery to my door today…the dragon poster. I wasn’t expecting it. Thank you!
Do you know who won the dragon?
Thanks for the poster.
Lori
Hey Lori. Thank you again for supporting the cause! I realize that I only posted the winners on Facebook, but not here. The first place winner was a guy named David from Virginia. He chose the green dragon. And a woman named Cara was the second one drawn and she got the red dragon. She lives in Indiana.
Hope all is well with you. I haven’t posted for a while because I’m working hard in my studio. I have a commission and I’m still working on my dragonfly. I’ll eventually have posts about both.
See you
